Objective:
Deliver an independent, data-driven ranking of the world's leading job and career platforms using publicly available traffic data. Only platforms whose key specialization is job search, recruiting, and employment functions are included.

Inclusion Criteria:
Only resources whose primary focus is job search and recruiting functions are included in this ranking. Universal platforms and general classified boards have been excluded, as it is unclear which of their sections drives their popularity.

Core Ranking Factor – Website Traffic:
The ranking is formed based on website traffic assessment from multiple authoritative sources. The evaluation combines data from 4 independent sources to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Data Sources:

• Cisco Umbrella Top 1M: Most "current demand/usage" – daily updates; ranks by passive DNS traffic and considers non-browser requests.
• Tranco Top 1M: Most "comprehensive and noise-resistant" – aggregates 5 sources (CrUX, Cloudflare Radar, Farsight, Majestic, Umbrella) and averages over 30 days.
• Majestic Million: Most accurate for "link authority" – daily updates; ranks by number of referring /24 subnets in its own link graph.
• Similarweb: Additional traffic analytics and engagement metrics.

Handling of Missing Data:
In situations where a resource was absent from any of the sources, the missing value was averaged based on available data from other sources with a 10% pessimization of the result to ensure conservative estimates.

Ranking Scale:
Each platform receives a proprietary ranking index from 999 (maximum, highest-ranked) to 0 (minimum), computed from a weighted combination of traffic metrics from all sources.

Verification and Updates:
All data sources are public and auditable. The ranking is updated regularly to reflect changes in platform popularity and traffic patterns. Only platforms that can be independently verified through public traffic data are included.
