Our aim is to provide an independent, evidence-based ranking of hotels in the Spain region, relying only on guest feedback that is statistically validated. Each hotel is compared to the regional minimum and maximum to show its real place among competitors. Since our analysis needs a large amount of verified guest reviews, even excellent but very exclusive hotels with few customers might get fewer points or not appear in the list due to a lack of data. This approach is intentional and highlights our focus on broad, trustworthy guest confirmation.

Ranking Index Scale (0 – 999):
The Ranking Index assigns scores from 0 (lowest in the region) to 999 (the best). A higher score means a stronger position in the ranking.

• Multi-Platform Rating Aggregation: Brings together and adjusts scores from all platforms, so no single source dominates.
• Sample-Size Confidence: Hotels with 100+ verified reviews get more weight; hotels with fewer reviews have less impact.
• Rating Stability Factor: Hotels with steady guest scores (low variation) get a bonus for being consistent.
• Cross-Source Consistency: If a hotel’s ratings are similar across platforms, this is rewarded, showing a reliable reputation.
• Regional Benchmarking: All scores are adjusted between the regional minimum and maximum, so top performers really stand out.

Weighting of Ranking Factors

This ranking approach uses regional benchmarks and hotel statistics to create a simple and clear 0-to-999 scale. The system highlights hotels that consistently earn high guest satisfaction and enough reviews to stand out, while also making clear that exclusive properties may not always appear because of limited available data.
